Miss Marple inventory provides IT administrators with a complete overview of the software and hardware in their company. The inventories include automatic registry and uninstall information as well as all of the executable programs installed on hard disks. Once started, Miss Marple's client agents collect information without interfering with the user's work in the system.

• Inventories of the hardware and software of company’s systems
• Acquired results are saved in a Microsoft SQL database
• Open SQL databases for quick access, incl. exporting and importing of additional applications
• No client installation necessary. The inventory is done by simply calling up a batch folder with the login script / started with group policies
• Offline inventory of the systems by reading the information in a comma-separated file. The files are entered automatically in the database after they have been read into the Miss Marple server.
• Interval Inventory taken after a user-definable number of days
   

• Hardware scans with the most important basic information (processor quantities and capabilities, RAM memory, used and unused hard disk space, partitions etc.)
• Individual expansion of the inventory information; should further information be desired, it can be integrated into the pre-defined tables and the results added.

• Software name 
• Version 
• Software file name 
• Producer 
• Memory location of the application 
• Systems on which the application is already installed 
• Number of times the software has been installed to date
   

The extensive evaluations based on various criteria form the backbone of efficient license management and give an overview of the programs that have been installed in a company. These can then be used to compare acquired licenses with those that are actually in use. Additionally, they can be used for registration in accordance with various licensing procedures.

The evaluations can be created in a wide variety of formats (Excel, Word, RTF, Adobe Acrobat, Crystal Report) and individually adapted via the report generator. It goes without saying that the data gained can also be made available for further processing by other applications.
